How we determine the level
Stimulus Threshold

The bike distances create a sustained engine demand, while 50 moderate dumbbell shoulder-to-overhead reps add a break-up point that keeps this from being an all-out sprint. For a moderately fit athlete, this is a fast but controlled effort where pacing the first bike and managing the dumbbell reps efficiently is critical to avoid blowing up.
