How we determine the levelAn 8-minute AMRAP sits right on the Sprint/Threshold border, but the escalating clean load every 2 rounds forces pacing and prevents an all-out redline effort for most athletes. The low rep scheme keeps rounds moving, yet the increasing barbell demand and toes-to-bar fatigue make this feel like a fast sustainable push rather than a pure sprint.
